I stayed at The Clarence Sydney Hotel for four nights. The biggest highlight is definitely the location. It’s right in the centre of everything close to Wynyard Station, Town Hall, QVB, and even within walking distance to Circular Quay in about 20 minutes. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room size was reasonable for a city hotel. However, cleanliness needs improvement as dust was noticeable throughout the room. Because the property is right on the street, you can also expect some party noise and traffic sounds at night. Overall, I’d recommend this hotel for travellers who prioritise a great, convenient location above all else.

Top hole in the main - only detractions and these would not stop us booking again but maybe others - street noise invasive late at night & early morning; unsecured website which you need to address; aircon filter cleaning light kept coming on.

The room was really dusty and had bugs.
